In the village

The Bowl Inn

Only a short walk away - a historic picturesque, whitewashed inn offering excellent food, wines and real ales either in the bar or Lilies Restaurant.

The Bowl gets its name from the shape of the surrounding land and has a history dating as far back as 1146 when monks were building the adjacent church. Today it's an ideal venue for someone simply looking for a good pint, snacks or a full meal.

Thornbury

Round and about

White Hart – Littleton on Severn

A beautiful ancient white-washed pub on the outskirts of this tiny village. There are a myriad of little rooms, all with a mix of traditional wooden furniture and a real sense of English heritage about them. There is a dedicated family room, and a large garden.

The Boar's Head – Aust

The building, originally a farm house, dates back to the 16th century, and you can tell - low ceilings with a series of small rooms knocked together. Pine furniture, historic prints add to the ambience. Outside is a large lawned garden with a small covered and heated patio area. The food is cooked fresh to order, using only quality ingredients.
